　　第一次接触Westlife的歌应该到高中了，学着那些酷酷的男孩子听歌。当《Season in the Sun》前奏响起，清新的节奏、悠扬的笛声，仿佛看到一群爱尔兰男人，穿着十字裙、吹着风笛，围着即将远行的老友歌唱。

　　西城男孩westlife来自爱尔兰，成立于1998年。西城男孩是爱尔兰流行音乐史上唯一一支头七支单曲空降榜首的乐队。他们也是唯一一个在英国拿过四次“年度最佳专辑”的组合。西城男孩在世界范围内售出四千万张专辑，其中包括七张超白金专辑。

　　Westlife的演绎无疑把这首歌推广到了顶峰，他们带有爱尔兰口音的嗓音和风笛的运用，使歌曲带有浓浓的爱尔兰味道，再加上他们近乎完美的配合，年轻阳光的面孔，受到了很多FANS的喜爱。

　　Goodbye to you my trust friend。（再见了，我忠实的朋友）看似有点讽刺，实则小编认为他更多的是原谅，因为，后面的歌词中全是怀恋以前美好的日子。

　　Goodbye papa please pray for me(再见了爸爸，请为我祈祷）寓意着那些荒诞的日子不会再有，同时那个不听话的儿子也将不在。他对他以前不懂事的行为向父亲道歉，同时也表达出对父亲的不舍。

　　Goodbye Michelle my little one(再见了蜜雪儿，我的小可爱女儿）他说在他人生灰暗的日子里，是女儿给了他爱，给了他希望。他说，女儿是他唯一的眷恋和不舍。

　　《Seasons in the Sun》因歌词伤感凄美，很快火遍美国。之后Westlife把它的旋律变成了欢快型，如今它成了毕业生离别的必选曲目。

　　我每次听到这歌，却会想到这个小伙子，难以想象，他掏枪的时候该是多么绝望。而他的歌却给了这么多人安慰和鼓舞：
